At Ya Neck (Kastro, Ollie Twist)
[2:13]
Powerful opening to Clear The Haze. Ollie Twist and Kastro rhyme back and forth over a tight beat with some Kill Bill kung-fu samples.

For My People (Kastro, Will McCoy)
[3:12]
Dangerous Myndz Clique track with Kastro and protege Will McCoy flowing back and forth seemlessly. Twist dropped the beat and they called it a day.

Work That Body (Kastro)
[4:01]
Twist's High energy, hard hitting mix of drums, live guitars, bass and turntables blessed by Kastro's smooth voice and clever lyrics made this one a classic from the start. Certainly one of the more friendly entries on "Clear The Haze", "Work That Body" has an unbelievable catchiness to it that is almost impossible to get out of your head. At a party? Turn this one on and slam it.

Mind Blown (Kastro)
[4:51]
This is the weed smoking national anthem as far as I'm concerned. Kas touches up the track beautifully with verses and chorus weaving throughout the track, as Twist demonstrates his skill on the wah-wah pedal in reggae fashion. A collaboration made in heaven.

Bang To Def (Kastro)
[4:04]
Kastro flowing on a Twist beat that has a touch of Erick Sermon in the production. The lyrics are simply amazing and race all over the track, not an easy one to memorize by any means, but a tight hook.

Do My Thang (Kastro)
[3:47]
A melodic track for the ladies from Kastro's long-awaited debut release "Clear The Haze". Live guitar tracks from Twist, with Kastro's
tongue twisting lyrics together in classic formula make this song a sensation in it's own right. This is how we rock.

Clear The Haze is an assembly of tracks recorded by Kastro (also known as Tommy Marin on later projects) that was engineered and produced by Ollie Twist. The record only saw a limited release of 200 hand made copies that were completed on November 23, 2006. Clear The Haze is now available on iTunes and several other online distributers. Kastro had become an addition to the Rhyme Skeme camp during the recording process of the The First Wind EP in the later half of 2003. Kastro soon became one of the main artists in the brigade, complementing the mix of vocalists perfectly as he graced the likes of the Rhyme Skeme supergroup album Organized Rhyme featuring on practically every song. It was Kastro's raw talent and dedication to making music that lead naturally into the workings of a solo album. Kastro became the first artist in the Rhyme Skeme to release a solo album aside from Ollie Twist. The recording process took over two years before all was said and done, combining a gangster vibe with the traditional Rhyme Skeme sound in great balance. The album also features Will McCoy, Kastro's sidekick and also partner in Kastro's subgroup Dangerous Myndz Clique. Tracks like "Do My Thang", "Work That Body", and "Mind Blown" all fell into regular rotation at live shows and Kastro proved that he could write to a stunningly diverse group of beats. Clear The Haze also features a good deal of electric guitar combined with heavy samples, a sound that would later crystalize into the RS foundation for production. Although some of the record is a little choppy in terms of final mix down (many formats) the heart of the album is true and consistent. Overall there are many timeless tracks and a solid theme of hip hop, smoking weed, some gangsta shit and straight battle raps. All in all it stands on it's own and has it's unique place in Rhyme Skeme history.
